April 2006

Wente, Reliz Creek Reserve, Arroya Seco, Monterery County 2003

"Excellent Pinot expression on th enose. Masses of sweet dense dark forest fruit and toasy oak. Ripe black and red fruits, and lots of well-integrated toasty oak. Very well made. 2-7 years.

June 2005.

Carmen, Carmenère Cabernet Reserve, Maipo Valley 2001.

"Intense and complex nose, shows some maturity and elegance, hints of lavender. Explosion of ripe berry flavours and sweet oak, but in balance. Powerful and well structured. good finish with good grip. 2-5 years."
