Review by a wine heathen.

Let me be very upfront. I create web sites, and have done for nearly eleven years. In that time I've written more than a few, both promotional and online shops, for wine producers, merchants and retailers.

So apart from not drinking wine very often I'm also rather a cynic when it comes to online courses, training and things like that. So my boss thought I would be the ideal person to work through the Home Wine Course. I asked if I could have the tasting wines for free but was told that I was getting free use of the course and that would give me 'inestimable value and pleasure in future years'. Always got an answer that man.

So the download took a few minutes and it installed in less time and I'm into the course.

It's early days yet but the first thing that struck me was that this was not a clip art based program as some others I've seen but that a lot of time (money) and thought has been put into the graphics and presentation of the program.

It's rather slick. Slick can be easy with some of the professional tools around but was there real content and value behind the images and easy menu system? I found that there is.

Convinced that this is good value for money? We were. For less than £30.00 given the excellent content of the course and the work that has been put into the course structure, graphics and program we've seen nothing to beat the Home Wine course.
