Chateau de Roques is the second label of Chateau Lezongars and in this range are a red, Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux, a white, Bordeaux Blanc Sec, and a Bordeaux Rose. These wines benefit from the same expertise and knowledge but are produced to specific tastes and for a specific market place.

CHATEAU DE ROQUES, PREMIERES COTES DE BORDEAUX
A blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet, with the view to making the wine an easy drinking claret whilst maintaining the fruit driven style of wine concurrent with the others reds that are made. This is "new wave" claret with a brilliant deep cherry red colour, a vibrant cherry bouquet. Intense, spicy flavours including mint, liquorice, cherry and red fruits. Full flavoured in the mouth, with evidence of soft tannins, this wine is smooth and well rounded.

CHATEAU DE ROQUES, BORDEAUX BLANC SEC
100% Sauvignon Blanc, modern style Bordeaux Blanc, fresh and easy to appreciate. The wine is a bright pale golden colour with a green tinge. The very pleasing bouquet begins with aromas of white flowers, developing an exotic fruit, mango and mandarin aroma. The taste is lively and smooth with mandarin, white peach, and mango flavours, being at the same time light and fleshy. The taste lingers with excellent acidity, bringing back the mango and gooseberry flavours which last in the mouth.
